Travel to Puri (Jagganath Puri) Day 3 & Day 4:

Hello Friends good morning to everyone!

I'm mixing 3rd day & 4th day for our stay at Puri.

Blog -1 Day -3 & 4:

Last night we had also visited the Sea-beach & sat there for 2-3 hours as it was a pleasant night with breeze blowing slowly-slowly.

We woke up at around 7 in the morning & today's plan isn't yet decided. Suddenly our "Panda" called us that a bus is departing around 10:30 am towards Konark Place & some other tourist place. We really wanted to go, but I wasn't well enough to go for touring as the place was new & due to weather change it may have happened. We cancelled the tour plan & decided to stay at hotel & enjoy bathing in the sea.

Before going for sea bath, we as usual went out for the breakfast & also want on for shopping for few things that are available in the market area. We purchased some certain cloth items for ourselves & also for our other family members. It's so tough to choose a color from different colors.

We also went to the famous Sweet shop named as "KAKATUA SWEET SHOP", I must say they make the some beautiful sweets & some new sweets that I haven't tasted. We collected some of them. And again went back to hotel. We quickly slept as next day morning we had to leave Puri & return to my place that's Bilaspur. That's why we cleared out all the balances of the hotel.

We woke up as early as possible. We had to leave by 4:30 am as our train clocked to depart by 5:00 am. We were on our time to station as I was taking many memories with me of this holy place & I want to come back with ample of time to explore my un-visited areas of Puri.

We got our train & left the station with eyes full of happiness.

This was my journey to Puri & gather some good memories. And I suggest you all to once visit the holy, I'm sure you will love the place.

Goodbye..

Travel to Puri (Jagganath Puri): Day 2

Hello guys ! How you all are doing..?

This blog is all about my 2nd day visit in Puri.

Blog -1  Day 2 :

Last night we had a very good & pleasant sleep though the sound of sea tides are constantly heard.

We woke up at 6:30 am & the first thing that I noticed the reflection of the sun-rays on sea water, that's a WOW! moment for me which forced me click the picture but as my mobile camera isn't that great it can't be able to capture the real reflection. It's seems like I'm in a dream
Some natural things isn't meant to captured, it is meant to be experienced with our vision.

We called for 3 cup of tea from hotel restaurant, till it arrives we got freshened up. Sipping a cup of tea in balcony with a beautiful view upfront, isn't that a great feeling ? After a cup of tea, we decided to have a morning walk simultaneously have our breakfast from a restaurant.

For the breakfast we preferred to have IDLI/DOSA as it is a clean food which won't affect our health & looking forward we have Idli.

After our breakfast we returned to hotel, contacted the reception about how can we visit the Jagganath Temple as we were new to the city. So, they sent us a "Panda", a guide in local language that will guide us for visiting the temple. It's around 9 in the morning, Panda ranged us to inform that the worship will start in & around 10:30 to 11 am. We decided to take that opportunity & got ready for the worship in Jagganath temple, We reached there by an Auto & by around 10:30.

Literally speaking, the architecture work of the Old Temple is nice & it is in well-maintained condition, it has to be as this is a very precious & holy temple. Proceeding inside the temple with a security check performed & from inside it is also well-maintained.

Inside the temple : At center is the Lord Jagganath's Temple, heightened temple & surrounded by many more small small temples of Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, Goddess Durga, Goddess Kali & many more idols. Inside the temple there'r spaces allocated for different purposes for the market where you can grant "Bhog" or holy Prasad which is being offered to Lord Jagganath, with a small donation. A space to eat pleasantly with every possible things present to be in a outside hotel. A space where donations are taken for the "Help Community" of the temple. This is the most well-arranged temples of India that I've visited so far.

We've waited in queue to make worship to Lord Jagganath. Most awaited moment for all the devotee's out there, when you finally worship in-front of Lord Jagganath. There'r 3 statues basically from left elder-brother Lord Balabhadra, sister Lord Subhadra & Lord Jagganath. Worship was good & we sat almost half-an-hour inside the temple.

Guide do told us some secrets of the temple which I'll disclose in the last day blog. Don't miss it.

We returned to hotel after finishing our "Bhog".  Although it was fun & exciting trip to temple, we were very tired as we were standing in the queue for almost 45 minutes in bright sun & very humid condition. We stayed in hotel till we go to sleep.

This was my 2nd day of Puri visit, hope you read it.

Travel to Puri (Jagganath Puri) Day 1 :

This is the 3rd blog I am going to post on my blogger site.

As the blog title mentions a tour to Puri located in Orrisa & it is famous for the Jagganath Temple & Sea Beach. This blog will become long if I write the whole story, so I've planned to break this blog into the number of days I've stayed & the fun thing I've performed also followed by the visit of the Temple.

Blog -1 : Day -1

I & my family after my college holidays begun, planned to travel to a pleasant & holy place, the place that clicks everyone's mind is Puri.

It was in the month of November we all prepared for the travel & reached Bilaspur station to catch the train that takes us to Puri. It was a 12-14 hours of journey & it isn't too boring as an excitement is there in everyone's mind.

We reached Puri by evening & started to search for a Hotel probably on sea beach side as you all know view of beach is awesome & that too for me also, btw it was the peak time of the travelers to come & that's why every hotel located near to the beach area was on full booking

After searching for almost an hour, yes that's quiet late to find a right hotel in right price & finally checked-in to Hotel Bangalaxmi, to be precise the hotel located near-by Swargdwar of Puri. It charged us almost about 2500 bucks per night stay, that's expensive a bit but what to do, when there is a need you need to take that expensive step.

Got the keys for the room & it was in the first floor, room was quiet big contains one sofa, bed for 3 & a balcony that's a must when you are paying too much for a beautiful Sea Beach. We shifted our luggage to our room & I quickly went on the balcony for the view & I've uploaded an image that shows the view from the balcony.
View of beach side

We firstly freshened up & get relaxed after hectic train journey. As the hotel located near to the sea beach, the drinking water tastes salty, not that too much.

Night view of beach
We all walk down to the beach to spent some time & also to enjoy the breeze, (the sound of the sea tides was kind of pleasing sound, personally I love to hear) there is way too much breeze throughout the beach. Came back to the hotel to have our dinner & after that we went to sleep as all of us feeling very drizzyyyy....

This is my blog for the day 1 of Puri tour.

First meeting with a girl

Hey guys ! What's up, did you enjoyed my first blog ? If not then quickly visit & comment down.

This blog is all about to whom I meet for the first time & by the time I liked her but she didn't care about so much.

I came to know about "Rosy" through my best friend as she also is the best friend of her. We started talking with through Whatsapp & sometimes in Facebook, & later I came to know that her religion is Christian, she wasn't as talkative as I was expecting but she isn't too boring. Months passed, I decided to meet with her & she positively replied to my meeting.

It was in the month of summer scorchers that's June '15 in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh when loo blows in it's peak with no early signs of rainfall, we decided to meet in evening in a park named as Energy Park.

I dressed up formally in blue & white check shirt & brown trouser with formal shoes & also applied some perfume so that the sweat doesn't smell. Reached the park by sharp 6:00 pm as it was planned, but she hasn't arrived yet. After fruitful waiting she arrived with my best friend in a red dress & OMG ! I can't explain how beautiful she was & I was questioned myself am I in heaven ? We smiled at each other & she was blushing like anything, it was clearly visible through her face. We entered the park, although for me it is heaven & decided to sit on the grass itself as it was breezing slowly-slowly. I was bit tensed & feeling shy too as it was first meeting & I didn't want to spoil it with negative impressions inside her, so maintaining my impressions.

We sat facing each other, I can't even able to say a "Hello!" as I was continuously gazing at her. My bestie started laughing. Simultaneously we also started laughing & I begun to talk with a Hello! At last I did it, Lol.. We were talking about our family & what we do. That time we both were in college but in different one, bad luck ! Anyways, we continued to talk.

Suddenly, my bestie's phone rang, probably a fake call I guess to leave us alone for some time. As expected, she left us & went to attend the call. I can't explain how afraid I was at that but gain my confidence to talk to her. I took the initiative to ask her about her likes & dislikes, hobbies & passions, ambitions in life, what she wants to become etc. etc.

I gave her a chocolate & fortunately it was her favourite chocolate that's Dairy Milk Silk, almost all girls love to have it but frankly I didn't liked it. Anyways, we spent some time alone & my bestie arrived with a bright smile on her face as if she started considering us "A Couple", Lol.. It's too early to be a couple.

She started feeling bore, I decided to play a game, what would you expect to have game in park, it was hide & seek among the trees. After that we played "Antakshari" as her voice is very nice as she sings in Church occasionally. It was a fun game to have.
Spent 2 hours we started feeling hungry, after some selfies & photo sessions we had to leave the park. Ate some "Golgappa's" from stalls outside the park. And she departed with a smile & I also had to.

We continued to talk in chat for months, we also met for just 1 more time in a zoological park located in Bilaspur only but after that meeting, I used to ask her for meet-up but she was too busy to meet so as me. 1 year passed & on October '16 during "Durga Puja", she called me, if I can be with her or not ? I replied her positively. We went on to visit the durga idols with her & her friends & frankly speaking I was feeling very special to her, She hold my hand & visited at intervals.

I started liking her as we had a lot of fun during that time, spent some time, played games, ate some food etc.  And my precious day comes to an end with lot of memories.

After that things change, as she didn't reply to my messages & if replied, it was a late reply with just on word. I started thinking that she is talking to me forcefully & I decided to let leave her alone for sometime but she didn't contacted me since months. I broke off my ego & tried to contact her, she didn't spoke too much as we were used to. She continued to tell that she's busy but I know she's no more interested in me, anyways I didn't ever forcefully wanted to be with me all the time.

I came to know about that she's in a relationship in recent days. After hearing this, I can't even able to eat, sleep or do any-other work properly as she had played with my feelings. I tried talking to her, but thought it in a practical way that there isn't much to talk about. I thought of breaking the friendship too because I started liking her too much & if I'll get too much involve then it would be very difficult to get out from the situation.

I gave her a call & cleared out all my doubts & also explained why I'm breaking this friendship. I know many of the readers would not like my work but what could I do when you'r in these kind of situation, once be in my place then you could experience what situation I've been from. Now, I'm all okay & moving on concentrating towards my career. Because career is first.

That's all folks.

I hope you'll like my writing, I've tried to express all my feelings through this blog.

Concluding with a hindi sentence,
"Galat Faemi Me Mat Rehna Doston, Jaanj Parakh Ke Pyaar Karna Agar Is Jal Me Ek Baar Phas Gaye, Phir Bahar Nikalne Koi Nai Ayega".

First Metro Rail Travel

Kolkata AC Metro
Above all this is my first blog, I introduce myself to you all. I am Abhishek De, a Civil Engineer. I love to write & want to share the things or the moments that are precious for me. Hope you'll like my blog. Enjoy reading!

As this is my first travel through metro rail, I was bit tensed & excited too.

It was a hot & humid Saturday morning I & my friend Aritra planned to meet as he lives in Kalighat & in order to reach there metro rail is fastest route as due to office hours there's always a jam like situation which kills almost half the time.

Park Street
As fast as possible I quickly reached Park Street, Kolkata & searched for the metro station entrance. It was very humid day & sweat is flowing like a river from every part of my body. Fortunately I got the entrance gate & entered the metro station.

As soon as I entered the station, a cool breeze flowing inside the station as it was Air-Conditioned & obviously it has to be either wise people will tend to suffocate in underground platform.Anyways, I checked in after all the security rituals being performed & purchased a ticket to Kalighat. They gave me a plastic coupon (further got it as metro ticket), as I have attached the image of the ticket & you've to keep it to your destination station either wise they'll fine you.  Proceeding towards the entry-gate, as I was novice, didn't knew how to do check in through the entry-gate. I saw & did exactly the same as my previous traveler did.
Metro Ticket

When performing all these activities, an AC metro arrived & departed too, bad luck
Waiting for another metro, a non-AC metro arrives, door slides & I get in to the metro. My friend said that AC metro is bit suffocating as it is closed from everywhere, but I can't say much as I haven't experienced it yet. Getting in, all the seats were full, I had to stand & travel no option. Clearly speaking non-AC metro are also good they'r also in good condition, not that hot & not that cool inside.

Announcement begins inside the metro & I can't get even a single word as it was too low to hear it. I was tensed & I have to be alert to get down at the right station.
Inside View of non-AC Metro

Hopefully, a route map is attached inside the train & I got to know about which station train is preceding. Inside the train, I was looking here & there like a small child as my stoppage was 4 stations away. Finally my stoppage came & I quickly got down started searching for the exit point. Ticket has to be submitted in the exit-gate machine & if the ticket got misplaced or you've came to wrong stoppage the personnel will charge you a fine.
AC Metro

Exiting from the station, my friend was standing with a smile in his face.

After meeting I went back through metro, by fortunate I got an AC Metro, it is called "Kismat" in hindi & my precious metro journey comes an end.

Hope, you have enjoyed my riding experience. I was very happy that day & will not forget this day ever in my life.
