Travel to Puri (Jagganath Puri): Day 2

Hello guys ! How you all are doing..?

This blog is all about my 2nd day visit in Puri.

Blog -1  Day 2 :

Last night we had a very good & pleasant sleep though the sound of sea tides are constantly heard.

We woke up at 6:30 am & the first thing that I noticed the reflection of the sun-rays on sea water, that's a WOW! moment for me which forced me click the picture but as my mobile camera isn't that great it can't be able to capture the real reflection. It's seems like I'm in a dream
Some natural things isn't meant to captured, it is meant to be experienced with our vision.

We called for 3 cup of tea from hotel restaurant, till it arrives we got freshened up. Sipping a cup of tea in balcony with a beautiful view upfront, isn't that a great feeling ? After a cup of tea, we decided to have a morning walk simultaneously have our breakfast from a restaurant.

For the breakfast we preferred to have IDLI/DOSA as it is a clean food which won't affect our health & looking forward we have Idli.

After our breakfast we returned to hotel, contacted the reception about how can we visit the Jagganath Temple as we were new to the city. So, they sent us a "Panda", a guide in local language that will guide us for visiting the temple. It's around 9 in the morning, Panda ranged us to inform that the worship will start in & around 10:30 to 11 am. We decided to take that opportunity & got ready for the worship in Jagganath temple, We reached there by an Auto & by around 10:30.

Literally speaking, the architecture work of the Old Temple is nice & it is in well-maintained condition, it has to be as this is a very precious & holy temple. Proceeding inside the temple with a security check performed & from inside it is also well-maintained.

Inside the temple : At center is the Lord Jagganath's Temple, heightened temple & surrounded by many more small small temples of Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, Goddess Durga, Goddess Kali & many more idols. Inside the temple there'r spaces allocated for different purposes for the market where you can grant "Bhog" or holy Prasad which is being offered to Lord Jagganath, with a small donation. A space to eat pleasantly with every possible things present to be in a outside hotel. A space where donations are taken for the "Help Community" of the temple. This is the most well-arranged temples of India that I've visited so far.

We've waited in queue to make worship to Lord Jagganath. Most awaited moment for all the devotee's out there, when you finally worship in-front of Lord Jagganath. There'r 3 statues basically from left elder-brother Lord Balabhadra, sister Lord Subhadra & Lord Jagganath. Worship was good & we sat almost half-an-hour inside the temple.

Guide do told us some secrets of the temple which I'll disclose in the last day blog. Don't miss it.

We returned to hotel after finishing our "Bhog".  Although it was fun & exciting trip to temple, we were very tired as we were standing in the queue for almost 45 minutes in bright sun & very humid condition. We stayed in hotel till we go to sleep.

This was my 2nd day of Puri visit, hope you read it.
